Flash sales, which is basically online sales kept to a limited period of time, is not something new to LINE, as the company had previously did something similar in Thailand for some 24 million of its users.

LINE has partnered with Taiwanese e-commerce group Uitox to build the mobile commerce platform which will be used to run the Taiwan flash sales. Items being sold on its platform will include cosmetics, footwear and Line’s own branded merchandise, though Line is seeking more brand partners, according to Focus Taiwan News.

In Singapore, LINE just concluded their Pop-up store, which saw a guy dressed up in Brown (LINE official mascot) to propose to his girlfriend.
