Here’s The Top 15 List of the World’s Cheapest Airlines

Most of us are bargain hunters. Everything we do, it is natural for us to want to get the most value out of the money we paid for a particular service.

An online airline comparison site, has recently did a research on the hunt for the world’s cheapest airline. To achieve that, WhichAirline used the average cost of one-way tickets, plus the cost of 20kgs of checked baggage. The average prices were calculated from more than 3,220,000 prices of flights operated in the future (June 2014 and later) searched by WhichAirline.com users.

The conclusion? The cheapest airlines in the world are in Asia.

The first place comes to Malaysian airline Firefly whose total fare including checked baggage fee is only €30.49. Firefly is followed by SpiceJet (€52.24) and Onur Air (€55.70). While many would expect AirAsia to be the cheapest, it only comes in at 4th place with €60.13, popular Asian airline tigerair is ninth with €72.54.
