korean music wave cancelled

KPOP has been a huge phenomenon globally.

Scheduled to take place on the 16th November 2013, Korean Music Wave Singapore was supposed to be the largest KPOP concert in Singapore. The concert promises a line up of 13 KPOP groups from Korea, with an expected turnout of over 16,000 KPOP fans around the Southeast Asia region.

Due to “unforeseen contractual difficulties”, the concert is cancelled. This sent thousands of fans away with disappointments as the event is slated to take place 10 days later.

The three-hour extravaganza, is jointly organised by MBC and Singapore-based Fatfish Entertainment and presented by StarHub. Fatfish had previously announced that the concert would be hosted by Korean girl group Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon, Tiffany and Seohyun (TaeTiSeo), and feature acts including SHINee, EXO, 2PM, 2AM, F.T. Island, B1A4, TeenTop, B.A.P, Kara, Sistar, Miss A, IU and 4Minute.
