Singapore based mobile app for couples LoveByte, has just announced its launch of a new Sticker Shop. The new Sticker shop currently features 16 sets of stickers which are designed by LoveByte. The app which is available on both iOS and Android, allows couples to chat and connect with one another.
The sticker sets are available at US$0.99 per pack. Over 350,000 of its users can purchase and download the sticker pack and chat with their other half on the cute couple app.
Stickers are not new to chat apps, and was made popular by Japan messaging app LINE. In 2013, LINE has seen revenue grow explosively over the last year. In the third quarter of 2013, Sticker purchase contributed to 20% of LINE’s revenue, which was a total of $31.5 million. This shows that users do pay for, well, stickers. Granted, LINE has hundred millions of users.
