250,000+ Users Later, Korean Holy Grail Beauty Site, Hermo Now Launches in S'pore

If there’s one thing that bonds all woman together, it will definitely be the love for beauty products.

And that’s probably one of the main reasons why Japan and Korea remain very popular travel destinations to female tourists from all around the world. And undeniably, Korea has some of the best beauty products in the world – none would probably dispute that.

There’s one problem though – the only way for someone to get her hands on the latest Korean beauty products was to fly into the country to buy them.

What if, there’s an online shopping site that allows you to do just that?

Ian Mok and P.S Chong were two partners from Malaysia that stumbled upon that “what-if” and successfully leveraged on that back in 2013. Thus, Hermo was founded in Malaysia with the sole focus of bringing in some of the trendiest Korean brands. These includes brands which were previously unavailable such as April Skin, Cremorlab, A’pieu, Mamonde and many more. Moreover, one can also find products by popular brands like Innisfree and Etude House, which are yet to be released in Malaysia.

The good news now is, the beauty e-tailer is officially launched in Singapore too, allowing Singapore users to join in a community of over 250,000 users. These users are actively using Hermo to discover and purchase beauty products from over 500brands not just from Korea, but also from Japan and Taiwan too!

Currently, Hermo is processing over 2,000 orders per day, and generating well over S$1M in revenue. Beyond its wide array of brands, Singaporeans will also get to enjoy prices below retail and a no-questions-asked refund policy when they shop with Hermo. By maintaining direct relationships with its Korean suppliers, there is an assurance of authenticity that many other marketplaces cannot offer.
