Use These Promo Codes On Grab To Make Your Ramadhan That Much Sweeter

It is often inevitable that prior and during a festive season, one would wind up spending more, and it is an expense that shouldn’t be done away with. After all, it’s not often that celebrations come by, and if a new baju raya is your splurge-worthy item of choice for this month, then it’s wise to save up on other areas of your life–namely, commuting.

Last week, Grab introduced their campaign in line with Ramadhan, known as the GRABMYWEEKEND campaign. With this campaign, Grab riders could enjoy 50% off up to four of their rides over the course of four weekends. The offer is available in Klang Valley, Johor Bahru and Penang with a maximum of RM6 off the rides itself. Noting the success of their weekend campaign, Grab is now extending the offer to weekdays as well!

As such, Grab is introducing their GRABMYWEEKDAY campaign from June 27 – July 1, and July 4 – July 8. Grab riders can enjoy 50% off their fare, with a maximum discount of RM6, throughout that duration.

Just pay via debit/credit card and they can enjoy the deal with unlimited rides during weekday as opposed to only 4 discounted rides with Grab during the weekend.

In order to activate the promo, follow these steps:

  1. Download the Grab App from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, and choose the GrabCar (Economy) icon.
  2. Choose a pickup and drop-off location on the app.
  3. Select a payment method.
  4. Enter the code GRABMYWEEKDAY or GRABMYWEEKEND, depending on when you’re booking the ride.
  5. Book your ride, and you’re good to go.

The Ramadhan period is known to be a busy one, whether at work or on the road. Parking is a whole other ballgame and a constant headache whether one is heading to the bazaar ramadhan, or just going to the mall to get their aforementioned baju raya.

The expenses are not dwindling either, hence it’s nice to be able to spend a little less in light of a season where spending and giving graciously to others is at its highest.

If one could spend half of what they normally do with their travel expenses, perhaps during this Raya, spending more on others won’t be quite as hard on the wallet.
