If you try to narrow down places that tend to be congested on a daily basis in Malaysia, banks would be one of them.
According to an announcement by Maybank on their website, there are now 64 Maybank branches throughout Malaysia that is Wi-Fi enabled. This recent effort is one that could help to keep the patience of their patrons since they can save on mobile data and leverage off the free Wi-Fi service for those long waiting times.
To access the Wi-Fi service at the bank, first press for a queue ticket at their main counter where a one-time pin (OTP) will be listed at the bottom of the ticket.
Then search for ‘Maybank Wifi’ at the Wi-Fi connections on your device and select. Enter the OTP and then click OK.
Congratulations, you can now access Wi-Fi in Maybank for the entire duration that you’re stuck in the bank.
