M’sians Swarmed The Digi HQ Last Night During The iPhone 7 Midnight Launch Party

It looks the Apple hype hasn’t died in the hearts of the ardent Malaysian fans; there’s already news of the phone being sold out within hours of its launch today.

Some of the Malaysians who were the first to get their hands on the iPhone 7 were partying the night away at the #TheAmazing7 midnight sales party at Digi’s Headquarters.

The party kicked off at 8pm yesterday and ran all the way to 6am today. Guests didn’t just hang around waiting, they were entertained with free Chatime drinks, various food trucks, live performances and movie screenings. The atmosphere was festive as anticipation ran high. There were a variety of games and activities and for those who wanted a little bit of relaxation, massage chairs.

Some of the promotions offered by Digi at the event included rebates of up to RM1,077, goodie bags worth RM277 for the first 200 customers as well as lucky draws.  To cap it off, customers were also treated to free rides from GrabCar with their preferred pickup and drop off times.

At midnight, the excited customers were able to get their hands on Apple’s newest offering. Digi also had the foresight to prepare a ready stock of additional units available for walk-in customers to avoid disappointment.
