E-Sports is still a largely untapped market, and in Singapore, homegrown companies like Spout 360 are leading the charge to make it more accessible than ever.
They recently made headlines as they announced a brand new reality TV series for gamers that is the first of its kind in Southeast Asia. You might also remember them as the ones who have occupied the space formerly known as the Alienware Arena.
Now called the Spout Arena, it is a space that offers both an affordable “LAN shop experience” as well as a stage for competitions and events.
A Spout 360 And Secretlab Tag Team Is Born
Yesterday evening, a new gaming tag team was born, and it involves two Singaporean forerunners in e-Sports.
Spout 360 and Secretlab announced a 2-year partnership that will see the latter’s unique and comfortable gaming chairs being featured in various Spout Entertainment E-Sports assets.
Most notably, the gaming chairs will be featured within their E-Sports Stadium, Spout Arena.
“We are extremely excited to be working with Daryl and his team who share the same vision as we do in building the best products for gamers and the millennial population in Southeast Asia. With the extensive reach of Spout Arena and the Spout360 media network, SecretLab aims to help more gamers enjoy the comfort of our ergonomically-designed chairs.”
said Ian Ang, Co-Founder and Managing Director at Secretlab.
He continues,
“This partnership marks the start of a long-term collaboration between both companies to pursue synergistic opportunities as Southeast Asia grows into a billion-dollar E-Sports industry.“
Founder and Chief Executive Officer at Spout Entertainment Group, Daryl Teo, also shared on the importance of this new partnership,
“As a vibrant, trusted and ambitious local brand, Secretlab is at the forefront of the industry, providing gamers with the ability to purchase quality, premium and comfortable chairs. Our goals and ambitions are closely aligned and will soon become visible to everyone in the very near future through our joint campaigns regionally.”
Both companies will also be embarking on synergistic opportunities, which includes the purchase of Secretlab products via the soon-to-be-launched SpoutPay mobile app, co-branded Secretlab-Spout gaming events and the upcoming Spout360 TV Series that will be aired on regional TV channels.
