Since its launch earlier in November 15, fans of Google’s latest flagship smartphone, the Pixel 2 XL, have only been restricted in getting the device through Singtel as they are the exclusive telco partner.

Nearly a month later, for those that have been holding onto hope that the phone will be available on the mass market without a telco contract can now breathe a sigh of relief.

Google Pixel 2 XL Now Available At Most Mobile Shops

Over the weekend, several prominent mobile phone stores have put up listings for the Google Pixel 2 XL both on social media, and their own websites.

Familiar names such as Kasia Mobile, Mobile Square, and Red White Mobile have the phone in stock at their respective stores.

Since you are getting this with no strings attached, you will have to shell out a pretty penny for a set.

While prices will vary slightly at each store, on average, expect to pay slightly more than $1,300 for a Pixel 2 XL.

On the flip side, there’s some good news. If you are into the panda look of the white Pixel 2 XL, it is now available in Singapore alongside the all-black variant.

Unfortunately, we are still stuck with the 64GB storage option but this should be a non-issue considering that Google Photos lets you keep an unlimited number of full resolution photos and videos until 2021.

Away from physical stores, you may also find it on Shopee and Lazada through several authorised resellers where prices can fluctuate greatly depending on who you buy it from.

Unlike the first Pixel, Lazada is not selling the Pixel 2 XL directly this time round.

Regardless of which local store you get the device from, you will be getting a piece of mind as the warranty stated that it will be covered by LG Singapore, the phone’s manufacturer.

This will certainly be something to celebrate over for subscribers of telcos other than Singtel who are keen to get their hands on the Google Pixel 2 XL, especially during this year end period where most people are sure looking for a change of phones.
