SingPost Partners S’pore Startup Park N Parcel So You’ll Never Have To Reschedule A Delivery

You’ll almost never have to reschedule your delivery again as you can now collect your Park N Parcel deliveries at any POPStation and have your SingPost parcel delivered to you by a Parker.

National postal service provider, Singapore Post (SingPost) launched on Monday (5 Nov) its Last Mile/Urban Logistics Platform (LaMP) initiative, a network for partner providers to share logistics resources, solutions, and capabilities.

LaMP also aims to promote logistics-enabled solutions and implement them across the supply chain.

Homegrown logistics startup, Park N Parcel is the first participant under LaMP and they have signed a memorandum with SingPost to spearhead this joint venture.

Over 1600 of Parkers, members of Park N Parcel acting as collection points, will be included in this initiative.

Their alliance will give customers more options to pick up and deliver their parcels from anyone, anywhere, and anytime.

Alex Tan, SingPost Group Chief Digital and Technology Officer said in the statement that this collaboration is “an important step in elevating industry standards” and improving customer experience in the last-mile logistics landscape.

“We seek to provide both buyers and sellers [a] peace of mind while keeping costs affordable so that the delivery process will become an afterthought in the online shopping experience, said Erik Cheong, Co-Founder and Chief Marketing Officer of Park N Parcel.

The statement added that SingPost is in advanced stages of discussions with several other retail and logistics partners around the region to join LaMP.

It also noted that talks with an Indonesia last-mile operator with 1,500 collection points across 58 cities are coming to a close and are expected to conclude by the end of this month.
