TADA today (16 Apr) announced a first-of-its-kind integration with a bank payment application in Singapore that allows riders to pay seamlessly with the OCBC Pay Anyone within its own ride-hailing application.
Just select OCBC Pay Anyone as the preferred payment option before requesting a ride.
The rider will be automatically directed to the OCBC Pay Anyone app for verification when the ride ends, and this secured process doesn’t require the user to scan any QR codes.
OCBC Pay Anyone users can make direct QR payments to merchants, and peer-to-peer e-payments with QR codes, social media, or a recipient’s mobile number, and PayNow.
From 22 April 2019 to 22 June 2019, OCBC Bank customers with the OCBC Pay Anyone app will get a $3 discount for TADA rides when they pay through the platform. Promotion is limited to 10,000 redemptions.
Other TADA-OCBC promotions include a 3% cashback for riders who book their rides with their OCBC 365 cards, and a 50% discount on the Smart Call booking fee (U.P. $6) when riders book a Smart Call ride using their OCBC credit or debit card.
