Travellers who hold passports from Japan and South Korea who have visited Singapore at least twice in the past two years are eligible to apply for the Frequent Traveller Programme (FTP).
From 28 August 2019, the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) will extend the FTP to Japanese and South Korea nationals aged six and above who are holding a passport with more than six months’ validity.
They will be able to use the enhanced-Immigration Automated Clearance System (eIACS) at Singapore’s checkpoints.
This means that they will enjoy automated immigration clearance in Singapore.
Currently, travellers holding passports from about 10 countries can enrol in the FTP and get automated immigration clearance in Singapore.
Enrolment for the FTP is voluntary and free, ICA said.
Interested applicants can apply for the FTP at Terminal 3 Changi Airport, the Visitor Services Centre at the ICA Building, and at Woodlands and Tuas checkpoints.
