Music streaming site Spotify has officially entered the Philippines through a partnership with global brand Coca-Cola.
The Swedish based music streaming company Spotify soft launched in the country by partnering with Coca-Cola, a brand where most of us are familiar with. To sign up for Spotify in the Philippines, simply email social_cokeph@coca-cola.com with the email subject “Coca Cola Spotify”. The company will then send you a download link and the code to input to sign up for Spotify.
Once you emailed Coca Cola, there will be a welcome message from the team with instructions to sign up for the popular music streaming website.
As with other countries, there are 2 plans. The free plan allows you stream music for an unlimited period. However, there will be advertisements interrupting you from time to time. The second is of course a subscription plan. With P129.00 a month and you’ll get no advertisement interruptions plus the ability to download your music offline. The amount is roughly below $3 and very inexpensive, if we take into account the brand’s agreements with big music companies worldwide which allows you to stream and download music for free – and legally.
