Foodpanda Launches 24/7 On-Demand Delivery Service In S’pore – Promises Delivery In 15 Mins

Back in October last year, foodpanda piloted its on-demand delivery service of groceries, flowers and household essentials.

Called pandamart, it offers goods from over 1,000 partner retailers nationwide and promises doorstep delivery within 25 minutes and under.

It has since welcomed new partners onboard, including household names like FairPrice Xpress and Cheers. Existing partners such as Hao Mart have also expanded their inventory and range of products to include more than 2,000 products.

Foodpanda deems the three-month pilot as “successful” as orders for groceries and household items more than quadrupled.

Following this success, foodpanda launched today a brand new service called pandanow.

It is “Singapore’s only 24/7 platform for on-demand delivery of groceries and household items” so customers no longer need to worry about running out of essentials when all the shops have closed for the night.

Pandanow is operated and supplied through foodpanda’s very own inventory at its five warehouses islandwide, and promises delivery in 15 minutes.

In contrast to pandamart that charges delivery fees that start at S$2.99, pandanow offers free delivery at no minimum order.

Luc Andreani, Managing Director of foodpanda Singapore, shared that they have plans in the pipeline to launch more pandanow warehouses in the future.

“At foodpanda, we are constantly looking for ways to use innovation and technology to help meet and exceed our customers’ expectations. … We are confident that we will continue serving our customers with the best delivery experience and industry-first innovations,” he added.
