To help self-employed person tide through the difficult period, the government will set aside $1.2 billion for a Self-Employed Person Income Relief Scheme.
Under this scheme, eligible self-employed persons will receive S$1,000 a month for a total of 9 months.
Self-employed person includes freelancers, taxi drivers, media and video freelancers.
