In a latest bid to help individuals in Singapore to get through Covid-19, the Government Technology Agency (GovTech) and Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) have launched a website that helps you find details on various grants and funds you could be eligible for.

Supportgowhere.gov.sg lists all the available monetary support packages that can help people who have lost their jobs, lost their income, or struggle with additional caregiving duties and expenses for essential items.

Where applications are needed, it also provides links where you can apply online.

For example, if you have lost your job due to Covid-19, you may apply for the COVID-19 Support Grant (CSG) which will give you $800/month for three months to undergo training.

If you are a healthcare worker who has contracted COVID-19 in the line of duty, The Courage Fund (TCF) will compensate you with a one-time monetary relief of $5,000.

Singaporeans can also find out what support they automatically qualify for, such as the Solidarity Payment of $600, which all Singaporeans aged 21 and above in 2020 will receive by 14 April.

Other grants listed also include aid for family members of people who have contracted or succumbed to Covid-19.

This new initiative by the Singapore government is set to help all groups of people, from Singaporeans and Permanent Residents to work pass holders, find the relevant financial support to tide them over this difficult period.
