Singapore’s fourth telco TPG unveiled today (Jan 14) a new SIM-only plan for heavy data users.
For just S$18 a month, users get to enjoy 80GB of data at 4G speeds, 500 minutes of local outgoing calls, 50 SMSes, as well as free incoming calls and caller ID.
It also offers free 2GB roaming data to selected countries including Malaysia, Indonesia, Japan and Thailand.
On top of that, users also get to enjoy 300 minutes of international direct dialling (IDD) calls to 21 countries.
For users who require additional IDD call minutes, TPG also offers one of the lowest IDD rates at 30-second blocks. Charges is listed as per table below:
How To Sign Up
According to TPG, there will be no contract and registration fees.
Customers can sign up for the S$18 for 80GB SIM-only plan from various TPG outlets and at tpgmobile.sg.
By registering and applying for the SIM card online, customers can opt for free delivery to their doorstep.
The plan will also be available on the new TPG SG app from February 2021 onwards. The app also allows users to check monthly bills, as well as real-time data, voice and SMS usage.

“Given the growing demand for data, we decided to launch this $18 for 80GB SIM-only plan as our way of providing our customers more affordable options to stay in touch with their loved ones overseas, especially with Chinese New Year around the corner.”
