Lazada is turning 9 this month and to celebrate its birthday, it’s throwing a star-studded birthday bash filled with flash sales, surprise boxes, livestreams, games and more.
For the first time ever, it’s counting down to its birthday with a virtual concert that will be livestreamed via LazLive on March 26 at 9.30pm.
Called Lazada Super Party, the concert will be headlined by global award-winning singer-songwriter Katy Perry and South Korean boy band NCT dream. They will be joined by homegrown talents Jasmine Sokko, Nathan Hartono, Dharni Ng, Fariz Jabba, and Sharul Channa.

Additionally, from March 20, Lazada will be livestreaming a different K-Pop star or group every Saturday at 8pm for seven consecutive weeks, featuring the likes of AB6IX and Loona.
Besides scoring a chance to ask personal questions, you will also get to enjoy giveaways and games when you tune in.
Pre-Sale Madness Starts Now
Leading up to Lazada’s Surprise Birthday Sale, you can look out for a slew of pre-sale activities happening until March 26.
There’s an all-new Surprise Goodie flash sale, where limited quantities of one product will be available for balloting from as low as S$0.10 or S$1.
Each shopper can get one chance to win the goodie of the day — which will be pinned at the top under the Flash Sale tab — such as a Samsung A7 tablet or a home karaoke system.
The best part is that even if you don’t win anything, you will be refunded in LazCoins (10 coins for S$0.10, and 100 coins for S$1). These LazCoins can be redeemed for vouchers to offset your shopping purchases, so it’s a win-win either way.
You can also win other free prizes by simply voting for your preferred prizes, such as a Prism+ Q75 Android TV or a PlayStation 5, via the Lazada app. You can increase your chances of winning by voting more for the same prize, or complete daily missions to earn more votes.
As part of the pre-sale, shoppers can also lock in the early-bird prices for selected products by placing a non-refundable deposit — 9% of sale price — and pay the balance payment on March 27.
For instance, a 4,784-piece LEGO Star Wars Imperial Star Destroyer set that retails at S$1,099.90 will be on sale for only S$791.93. This means that you would only need to place a deposit of S$71.27.
On the last day of the pre-sale, you can take part in Lazada’s iconic GUESS IT game show at 8pm, which will be giving away S$5,000 worth of vouchers.
During the final few hours of its pre-sale, Lazada will be throwing a Surprise Blitz in-app at 9pm, where it will be offering S$100 vouchers up for grabs.
Grab Vouchers To Maximise Your Savings
To win vouchers, you can play LazGames like Happy Cake to win a S$9 voucher (applicable with a minimum spend of S$50), or crack the Surprise Egg each day to earn two vouchers daily and win the highest valued S$100 voucher.
There are different types of vouchers up for grabs, such as free shipping, storewide discounts, seller deals, and bank vouchers. The more vouchers you stack, the more you can save!

More Deals On Lazada’s Big Day
On March 27, over 200 stores on Lazada will go on a two-hour storewide flash sale of up to 90 per cent discounts from 12 to 2am. You can take a sneak peek of the participating stores here.
There will be other flash sales that you can look out for, featuring S$0.99 deals (from 9pm to 12am) and S$9.90 deals (from 6 to 8pm). Deals will refresh every two hours after 8am.
Under the Flash Sale tab, you should also keep a look out for 150 branded surprise boxes going from S$9 (worth S$40) to S$79 (worth S$200). This starts at the stroke of midnight, followed by every two hours from 8am.
