Singapore is known for its high cost of living, so promotions and discounts are always heartily welcomed by Singaporeans. This is also why membership deals and cashback opportunities are rising in popularity these days.

Enter Fuzzie — Singapore’s latest, exclusive, invite-only membership club. It is touted to be a combination of Singapore’s popular paid memberships, as it offers a comprehensive and holistic range of benefits.

Members on the platform can enjoy benefits like discounts or 1-for-1 deals on a whole suite of products and services, which range from groceries, medical services, to food and wellness.

Even though the app is still in the pre-launch stage, it has already amassed over 600 merchants with over 1,500 outlets islandwide. Some notable F&B merchants include Michelin-starred Italian restaurant Braci, French bakery PAUL, and Mad for Garlic.

Other merchants include Farrer Park Hospital, which gives members special rates for health screenings; spa and massage specialist Natureland; and fitness subscription platform ClassPass.

To view the privileges available, users can sign up for an account using a referral code. If they would like to gain access to the benefits, they will be required to activate their accounts by paying an annual activation fee of S$99.90 and a monthly maintenance fee of S$0.10 (excluding GST and credit card charges).

However, the catch is that not everyone can be a Fuzzie member. It is meant primarily for corporate employees and invited guests, and access will only be granted if one has a referral or invite code.

Not Everyone Can Get In

The Fuzzie Club is an exclusive one, and admission is strictly by-invitation only. This is to ensure that the team is better able to serve its customers, explained Fuzzie founder Farhan Noor.

“We have to ensure a fine balance between the number of users and merchants. Fewer users means better deals for our invited members,” said Farhan.

The startup was first launched in 2014 as an instant cashback platform, but Farhan soon realised that there was a greater problem that Fuzzie could solve when he received calls from many corporate clients to provide support for gifting purposes.

“I realised that human resource (HR) departments wanted to do more, but faced the problem of tight budgets and limited manpower,” said Farhan.

This is why Fuzzie provides corporate clients with a solution akin to a “Welfare Booster Pack”. By providing employees with a Fuzzie membership, employers are able to drastically boost the welfare of their staff without significantly increasing HR budget.

You Can Save $2,000 to S$6,000 Each Year

According to Fuzzie, users can easily save S$2,000 to S$6,000 every year with regular usage of the app.

It is also easy to visualise one’s savings with Fuzzie. Every privilege redeemed has an estimated savings amount that is displayed on the home page.

With just a tap, users can also see a breakdown of all their redemptions, which provides an easy way to look at lifestyle habits over time.
