New telco Changi Mobile lets users rollover unused data, plans start from S$8/month for 8GB

Changi Mobile is the latest player to enter the telco market. It is part of Changi Airport Group’s subsidiary Changi Recommends, and runs a mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) service on M1.

There’s a value plan for users like seniors above 60, students, and NSF, that costs $8 per month, that comes with 8GB, 200 minutes, and 200 SMS. The usual price is $18 per month, and the promotion lasts till end October.

This SIM-only plan that is free from contract allows the user to change the mobile plan (upgrade or downgrade) anytime. It can also be customised, by adding more data, talktime, if necessary.

Users can also save any unused data to roll over in the next month. But the data rollover service is currently available till the end of this year, according to Changi Mobile’s website.

All plans come with free incoming call, incoming SMS, Caller ID, SIM delivery, and no activation fee.

Users that have a second device can also sign up for a data line at S$20 for 50GB of data.

There’s currently an SAF Day promo exclusive for NSMen where subscribers can get a FlexiPro plan at $25 per month which offers 60GB, or a FlexiUltra plan at $35 per months with 100GB data. This promo will end on the last day of August.

Other offers include free additional 30GB for the first three months for Changi Recommends and Getit customers.
