Announced at Asia Tech x Enterprise 2024, Ignition AI Accelerator is a new global AI startup accelerator based in Singapore. Its four-month program will foster best-in-class support platform AI startups to thrive in the rapidly emerging global AI market.
A collaboration between tech giant NVIDIA, startup ecosystem builder Tribe and Digital Industry Singapore (DISG), a joint office between the EDB, EnterpriseSG and IMDA. Ignition AI Accelerator has received an initial combined investment of US$3 million and has already selected an initial cohort of 15 startups.
The AI market in Singapore is poised for significant growth. Projections indicate it will surpass US$1 billion by year-end 2024 and quadruple to US$4.6 billion by 2030.
Ignition AI is a curated four-month programme that includes a series of training workshops to enhance core AI-building capability, covering the full AI stack, from GPU to application layer development framework. Startups will receive cloud credits to unblock development across multiple cloud platforms, allowing them to adopt a flexible model across different cloud environments and on-premise infrastructure.
The program will provide coveted opportunities to bridge the gap between startups and potential investors, including corporations, VCs, and private investors. It will expose the startups to real-world pitching and help them gather early-stage funding support for their launch-ready solutions.
In addition, an expert advisory will help startups at all stages of this program, including in-depth coaching from lead consultants, subject matter experts, and experienced founders.
As part of this program, NVIDIA and Tribe will collaborate with Enterprise Singapore (EnterpriseSG) to offer qualified AI startups funding support through the Startup SG Tech scheme.
Applications for the next cohort are open, and you can register at their website.
