Over the past few days, a new website has been making its rounds in Malaysia.

Called BalikCina, which literally means ‘go back to China’ in Malay, is a collection of all “noteworthy” quotes by Malaysian politicians and public figures.

While it is unknown who started the site, its “About Us” page reads, “Inspired by the outstanding quality of public discourse perpetuated by Malaysian politicians, we started BalikCina.com to keep track of all exciting developments in our political landscape. So, sit back, grab some popcorn and enjoy the show, Malaysia Boleh!

Too many newspaper

At the time of this writing, there are over 200 “quotes” by Malaysian politicians which are submitted by netizens to the website. Some of the popular quotes on BalikCina include:

Kangkung dulu naik sekarang dah turun, bila dah turun kenapa tak puji kerajaan?” – Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak

Malaysian roads are like Iraqi war zones.” – MCA president Dr Chua Soi Lek

Chinese in Kelantan are not greedy as they live like Malays.” – Malay rights group PERKASA President Datuk Ibrahim Ali

“The Malaysian education system is better than advanced nations.” – Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin

Every quotes on the site are linked to actual reports where the politicians made the quoteworthy comments. The website is currently widely discussed on social the various social networks too, notably on twitter. You should definitely check it out before it gets blocked.
