Question added in Funding
How much money do you need to start up in Singapore? What factor(s) determines this amount?

Understand that it's relative, but perhaps can share rough figures for the industry you're in or for your own startup too?

Ed Tech startup needs to have a runway for 18-24 months, i would recommend  ~ 200K SGD. of which 40% should be advertising spend, 30% on tech and 30% on people.

We started with providing event management services which requires the least capital and as we gradually started to explore the production and fabrication part of the business we had to allocate some of the resources to acquire large format printer etc.

It takes alot longer to bootstrap along the way (5 years for us) and would have been quicker if we had a loan or capital investment.
