Have you ever wonder how many people are actually reading your tweet? If you are one of the curious sheep (or birds), Twitter has heard you and invented a new feature to track down all the activities that occurred around your tweet with their new feature, Twitter analytics.

Ian Chan, an engineer at Twitter, announced the change in a tweet that Twitter has launched a new analytics feature last week and it is now available on the iPhone app. You can now see how many impressions your tweets read your tweet, clicked, as well as other engagement such as retweet and favourites or viewed your full Twitter profile.

This feature will only be accessible if you have installed or updated the latest version of the Twitter app. Users are allow to update the app from the Settings menu or App Store. So if you’re looking to access Twitter analytics, grab your iPhone and make sure you have the latest version of Twitter.

At the moment, the update is only available for iOS. As reported on HNGN, Twitter is currently working on this update for owners of Android devices. Nevertheless, you can still access to the analytics at here.

Initially, the analytics interface was designed mainly for advertisers, verified users and Twitter Card publishers. Later on Twitter decided to make this feature available for the average user. Therefore, even if your tweet is not getting retweeted 500 times, you can still see if other people are still interacting with your tweet.

It’s a great tool for anyone looking to get famous on the internet – or to worsen existing FOMO issues.
