10,000 Steps Per Day Craze: How Fitness Trackers Influenced These 6 Successful People

Apart from running, walking has become my favourite activity ever since I got my Omron Pedometer.  This baby gets me excited to walk more as it is fun to try and achieve 10,000 steps on the pedometer everyday. As a result, I challenge myself to go more than 10,000 steps a day because it gives me a sense of achievement and satisfaction.

The 10,000 program is just what we need in Malaysia. It is sad to see that people merely exercised by giving excuses like my lifestyle is too hectic. Sometimes, the only exercise the current generation get is scrolling through Instagram, Facebook, and texting.

In addition she also said that working out with the Nike+ Fuel Band accompanied with the Nike + Kinect Training is much cheaper than hiring a personal trainer.

The Chancellor has been pictured wearing his electronic wristband, a Jawbone UP device. Telegraph reported that the wristband had been given to him as a present for his 42nd birthday. He explained that he uses it to tell him how many calories he has burnt when he jogs.

Speaking at a Westminster lunch, he told reporters, “It measures how far you walk but it also measures your sleep patterns – deep and light sleep – and I was pleased to note yesterday that Michael Gove was also wearing one.” He declined to share the readings from the device, but when asked about how he slept the previous night, he replied: “I always sleep well.”

There is a classic Chinese saying from Confucius which goes, a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. By taking little steps forward, implementing routines on things that you want to achieve, these seemingly small steps are actually the keys to help you to get to your stepping goal faster.
