Foodpanda, is one such website: If you want to order food online, you can just head on to their website and choose the dish you want, and get it delivered to your office or your house. The service is available around the world, and in Asia, the countries they are operational in is in India, Thailand, Indonesia, Pakistan, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam and Taiwan.

Foodpanda is easy to use: just choose your location, order your food, and you can get it delivered to you, after which you can pay the cash on delivery. Foodpanda takes a cut from each restaurant orders.

Earlier last week, Malaysia’s Foodpanda has just announced that it will make its service available also in Johor, on top of the Klang Valley, Penang, Ipoh, and Melaka.

“We are very happy to add Johor Bahru to our list of cities that we provide delivery for. We believe that JB is an underserved market with lots of potential. Already we are seeing very encouraging feedback from both restaurants and customers. We intend to bring our experience in food delivery and strong partner restaurants to the residents of JB” says Claudio Abitante, Managing Director foodpanda.my.

Foodpanda Johor Bahru has signed on partners such as Chatime, Kenny Rogers Roasters, Vivo Pizza as well as local favorites like Season’s Café and Chakra Restaurant, with other partners such as Chicken Rice Shop and Old Town White Coffee coming onboard soon.
