In conjunction to Malaysia Day, MyTeksi, also known as GrabTaxi, has been working together with KakiSeni for an project named Negara Hanya Satu.
About Negara Hanya Satu
#seedingMyHope is a social project riding on the success of 50×50 My Malaysia in 2013 and LimaPuluhTujuh in 2014, created by Niki Cheong, a writer and educator in collaboration with Kakiseni. MyTeksi’s #seedingMyHope capsule has been going around Malaysia all week collecting soil to represent unity in diversity.
The aim for #seedingMYHope is to bring Malaysians together through a content-driven campaign by young Malaysians, for young Malaysians. Besides that, they also hope to reach 10,000 of Malaysians to take part in online and on-the-ground activations, including using a capsule that contains soil from all 13 states in Malaysia to represent our connection to our homeland—our tanah air.
The team from MyTeksi have been going around Malaysia for the last couple of days to collect soil samples from each state and put them in a capsule.
For more information, you can check out the #seedingMYHope page to keep up with the capsule journey. Up till today, MyTeksi team has gone to states like Johor, Malacca, Perak, Penang, Kedah, Perlis just to complete the capsule relay. According to their Facebook posting, they will proudly display the capsule at an event in Pavilion, Kuala Lumpur on the 15th of September.
