Experience 4 Companies With Progressive Work Culture First-Hand With This Awesome Tour

If you ever held a job where you dreaded every minute of it because of the company’s style of conduct, then you probably understand the value of working with a company that practices a healthy work culture.

Having a sense of how things work at a company before accepting a position saves you a lot of time, hassle—and let’s be honest—trouble.

In the spirit of keeping companies’ culture transparent and to make job-hunting easier and fun for the right people, Wobb will be organising ‘The Awesome Tour’ on the 22nd of October 2015.

Wobb is a platform that finds the right employer for you based on their progressive company culture. The platform doesn’t reveal information relating to pay as the platform is interested in attracting the right candidates for the right reasons. We did an in-depth feature about what they do here.

As part of the tour, selected candidates will be taken to 4 different companies—Nuffnang, KFit, Mindvalley, and PayPal—all in the same day. Each of the companies is progressive and they have a lot more to offer than just a cool office. They offer you an opportunity to work for a cause that you’re truly passionate about.

The premise behind the tour is to get the selected candidates up and close with each of the companies.

You can check out their cool offices, the games and the ambiance of each and every office. And not just that, it’s also an opportunity that you can use to evaluate not just how cool the companies are but more importantly, their working culture and what they truly stand for.

You can mingle with their teams, speak to them about how they work and if you’re lucky enough you might even bump into the founders themselves.

At the end of the day, while fancy gadgets, cool perks and fun games all sound good to the ears and look great to the eyes, the reality of the matter is that you have to get along with the people at a company, and this gives you an opportunity to find out exactly that.

You get to know a lot about a company by meeting its employees and its bosses and by also observing them while they work.

While tour is entirely free (it’s in fact sponsored by your potential employers) it is only limited to a maximum of 20 people. You can submit your application here before the 30th of September and if you’re selected, you will be informed by Wobb’s team.
