Four Singapore Apps Currently Featured By PayPal Mobile!

We probably don’t need to introduce PayPal much on Vulcan Post, as you might have probably used it when you purchase your items online. As we move towards a mobile age, PayPal is also actively helping businesses go mobile with mobile payments.

Recently, PayPal Asia Pacific recently released a promotional video highlighting four interesting companies which they have helped go mobile.

And of course, we have to highlight them here as well:

1. My Laundry Box

First on the list is My Laundry Box, which we just did a full story feature on as well. My Laundry Box is a smartphone-enabled laundry locker service: users download the app (iOS and Android), place their clothes in physical lockers installed in various locations around Singapore, and then send their laundry order through the app.

Founded by a quartet of young entrepreneurs in the early 30s with backgrounds in investment banking or trading, My Laundry Box is a new way of doing your laundry like never before.

2. Hotel Quickly

Looking for great staycation deals at premium and boutique hotels in Singapore? Hotel Quickly might just be the app you are looking for. Hotel Quickly lets you discover last minute staycation deals in Singapore. You can also travel out of Singapore and there are last minute hotel deals on Hotel Quickly available too!

3. dilivr.it

The third app which PayPal APAC highlighted in its video is on demand delivery app dilivr.it. Created by Natalie Ip, dilivrit is a mobile platform providing individuals and businesses with on-demand, hassle-free delivery services while filling up the idle time of existing couriers. What essentially it means is that, if you need someone to help you deliver or pick up some items, dilivrit is the app you need to check out.

“We aim to become an addictive every day habit for busy people who value their time,” Natalie Ip told Vulcan Post when we did an interview with them.

4. Coastes

This is new to us: Coastes at Sentosa has a digital menu app which allows customers to cut queue and order their food and drinks directly from the app itself. Customers simply download the app and enjoy the convenience of food and drinks ordering at the tap of a few buttons. Service staff which would otherwise be tied up taking orders now have more time to interact with customers.

Win Win.
