These 10 Cafés In The Klang Valley Are Great For A Late Night Chill Out Session

When most people think of places to hang out at for a late night get together, chances are, they think of a mamak, or a fast-food restaurant. However in recent years, trendy hipster cafes that have been popping around the city keep their doors open till late to meet the growing demand of the city’s night owls.

These 10 cafés are perfect for social interaction, a place where you can hang out with friends or colleagues, or to just chill by yourself, late at night.

1. The Port

The Port in Bandar Utama is a container cafe that features a modern mamak theme with wooden and steel table seating. Even the menu is reminiscent of the mamak store as they serve local mamak and Malaysian street food like keropok lekor, laksa and mee kari. The chilly environment is a great choice for lepak-ing at night, which opens from 4pm until 4am daily.

2. LewisGene

LewisGene offers quite a huge variety of drinks and food compared to other cafés. Their menu is written all over the chalkboard that hangs by the ceiling, and it consists of about 30 to 40 items. If you’re craving for sugar, you must opt for their waffles or pancakes because they happen to be this  café speciality. Although it can get quite crowded on Friday nights, LewisGene is still a lovely space to read a book, do assignments, and to chill out.

3. Donutes Coffee & Bakery

Donutes Coffee & Bakery is probably the only café in the Klang Valley that runs for 24 hours, throughout the day. If you are looking for a cozy and spacious cafe to pull an all-nighter at, you know where to be. Despite the name “donutes”, the café also serves coffee, teas, cakes, and pastries.

4. C.A.F.F.E.I.N.E.E.S

Situated at less than a 5 minutes drive away from Berjaya Times Square, with their chic, classy and incredibly unique ambiance, Caffeinees is a popular choice among working professionals and late night clubbers to meet over a cup of coffee or even a late-night session of shisha.

5. Acme Bar & Coffee

Acme Bar & Coffee is a great place for those who want to have a good cup of coffee at a more high end place, late at night. The place is beautifully decorated with modern glass surroundings, complete with great ambiance that’s filled with Jazz music in the background. If you happen to come here after dinner, remember to try out their sizzling brownies.

6. Coffea Coffee

Coffea Coffee is a Korean-based franchise cafe that you’re most likely to come across at major shopping malls throughout the Klang Valley. However their Bangsar and SS15 outlets has carved out a niche for themselves by operating till late hours. The coffee house’s signature drinks are Peanut Butter Latte and Green Tea Latte, therefore while you are here, remember to grab a cup of Joe.

As the name suggests, this place is a combination of a coffee joint and a laboratory. The decor and interior is specifically decorated and ornamented to resemble a Chemistry lab, and even the baristas wear lab coats. This place offers an ideal environment for students to discuss assignments, or a place to relax after a tiresome workday.

8.Moonlight Cake House
