The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) personality test is often used by people to find out the varying personalities that each of us have.
In case you are not familiar with it, after undergoing a series of questions, you will be assigned to one of 16 personality types based on how you measure yourself against four criteria. Yes, it’s the one that tells if you’re an INTJ, ESFJ, etc.
But it is also something that is frowned upon – especially when employers use it as a measure of their candidates.
It is widely associated as an unethical means of employment, with even the Myer-Briggs Foundation themselves even highlighting the grave misuse of their type indicator.
The reverse is true for job seekers, though.
Many have used the MBTI as a tool to find out the type of person they are, and from there narrow down the kind of jobs that they might be willing to work in.
The World Economic Forum Helps Out
The World Economic Forum recently published some interesting graphics which may be of interest to avid fans of the MBTI test.
Working together with Business Insider, they revealed some well-known jobs for all 16 personality types. The results cover a variety of sectors and industry, so most things are pretty much covered.

I am an INTP, and in all honesty, the job recommendations for it were pretty spot on.
Not to go into specifics, but let’s just say that even though I was an undergrad studying to be one of those jobs listed under the type, circumstances still led me to be where I am right now – writing this, and you reading it.
How fate truly works, I simply will not understand.
