Last week, AirAsia officially moved into their new headquarters and the photos have been all over social media. We got a sneak peek into their awesome workspace that made all of us wish we could have a chance to don their signature red.

After 2 years of construction since December 2014, the office located next to KLIA2 is now fully operational. The headquarters is called RedQ, short for RedQuarters and it covers an area of 18,000 square metres.

The building can house up to 2,000 AirAsia Allstars and the name was chosen by AirAsia X cabin crew member, January Ann Baysa from the Philippines.

The design of the new office is said to be a reflection of the company’s vision in becoming the number one airline in Malaysia and across the region.

Among the highlights are their country-themed meeting rooms. There’s also the classic high ceilings, beanbags, and grass circles that seem to be a trend with every office space in this generation.

One of the coolest things in my opinion is their Lego wall. Perfect for encouraging creativity.

Oh and also to take note of is that in the cafeteria, a fresh buffet of salad goodies await the staff every day.
