S’pore Startup Eatsy Expands To Indonesia, Lets Users Order Food Before Reaching Restaurant

eatsy app

Singapore-based ordering and payment app Eatsy announced yesterday (Nov 19) that it has expanded to Indonesia.

The Eatsy app basically allows users to order food in advance so they can skip the queue at the restaurant.

Users can also make payment for their order in-app to enhance the convenience.

It has partnered with Grab-backed mobile payment platform OVO to integrate its payment solution on its platform.

Once users complete their payment using OVO, the app sends the order request to the merchant for preparation so the order will be ready by the time the user arrives at the restaurant.

In Indonesia, Eatsy said that it will focus on its takeaway feature with quick-fix merchants.

This feature is only available in Jakarta for now, but Eatsy plans to bring it to more cities and get hundreds of local restaurants onboard the platform.

Also A Win For F&B Merchants

Founded in 2016, Eatsy aims to help food and beverage merchants gain a competitive edge with its app.

It has integrated with mPOS platform Moka to help merchants manage their daily operations more conveniently.

In all, Eatsy helps merchants to grow sales, increase operational efficiency, and reduce customer dropout rates because of long queues.

With Eatsy, merchants can manage their orders online. This reduces human errors and prevents customer complaints and reimbursements.

In Singapore, Eatsy said that it has helped over 400 merchant partners push their sales 1.5 times higher.
