With the end of the circuit breaker, some government service centres will be resuming operations starting 2 June.
According to the Public Services Division (PSD), these are the service centres that will open in Phase 1:
- All Central Provident Fund (CPF) service centres
- Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) service centre at Revenue House for taxpayers and businesses
- Housing Development Board (HDB) Hub and HDB branches
- Ministry of Manpower (MOM) employment pass service centre
- Health Promotion Board (HPB) student health centre
- National Environment Agency (NEA) one-stop service centre for hawkers at HDB Hub
In order to continue safeguarding public health, the services will be available by appointment only.
Visitors to service centres must observe safe measures during their transactions, including wearing masks at all times and checking in and out through the SafeEntry system.
They should also reschedule their appointments if they happen to feel unwell.
Other centres will remain closed, and digital touchpoints will still be the primary mode for providing most public services.
PSD will step up its efforts to promote digital literacy and empower citizens to use digital means to access public services, including promoting digital services to senior citizens.
Along with public service centres, courts will also resume hearings, while still conducting some hearings remotely where possible and appropriate.
Selected dental clinics in schools will also reopen from 2 June, and appointments will not be required.
However, sports, arts, and social facilities including libraries and stadiums will remain closed.
In Phases 2 and 3, more physical service centres will gradually reopen.
