3 new Singapore online tutoring sites which caught our attention

When people are trying to look for information nowadays, the first thing that comes to mind is to either google for it, or to look for the information online. Anything you might need from shopping, dating, travel, food, and now, education. Traditionally, parents rely on other parents to refer them tutors if they are looking for someone to tutor their kids. In this new digital era, increasingly parents are turning to online sources to look for the best available tutors.

Here are three online tutor sites in Singapore which caught our attention recently:

1) Tutorbox

Launched just few weeks ago, Tutorbox is an online platform for parents to look for the right tutor for your kid. Using the site is simple, interested parents can just create a simple “job listing” requesting for tutors, and Tutorbox will notify parents when there are interested tutors.

Parents will also get to view the resumes of all tutors that apply for the job listing.

2) Epigami

Launched recently too, Epigami is a new and clean website allowing parents to find tutors on their site. Simply input your required curriculum, the subject, as well as your street postal code and the site will show you a list of tutors who fit your requirement. There are also a few recommended tutors highlighted on the front page of the website, and these tutors are able to provide tutoring to students from primary level all the way until junior college level.

3) XpressTutition

Another tutoring site which caught our attention is XpressTuition, which is a combination of the popular Group Buying concept as well as a simple tutoring job listing site. Everyday, there are certain deals listed where the hour rate for tutors are supposedly cheaper if you purchase the deal.

There are definitely many other online tutor sites available, which are all setup to facilitate the matching of tutors with potential students. The tutoring industry is Singapore is a multi million dollar industry, as parents are willing to spend money to ensure that the children receive the best possible education opportunity.
