The GrabShuttle and GrabShuttle Plus services let Singapore commuters book a seat on bus journeys, at prices lower than typical private-hire or taxi rides.
Grab's on-demand shuttle service, GrabShuttle launched November 2017 and has seen 8x ridership since. From 2 Oct, the service goest to the East of S'pore.
During the on-demand bus trial, commuters will be able to, via an app, request for pick-ups and drop-offs at any bus stop within a designated area.
GrabShuttle adds another service catered to students, GrabShuttle for Schools. The service claims to cut down 50% of travelling time, and offers flexible and customisable routes.
The new GrabShuttle service allows passengers to pre-book a seat from a list of fixed routes on its 13, 23 and 40-seater vehicles.
