This will be used to fund the enhanced Job Support Scheme, the enhanced Temporary Bridging Loan Programme and Enterprise Financing Scheme, and the Solidarity Payment to Singaporeans.
All adult Singaporeans will get a one-off Solidarity Payment of $600 in April, while PRs and Long Term Visit Pass-Plus holders can apply to receive $300.
The Foreign Worker Levy will be waived for April 2020, to help ease employers' cashflow to that they can continue to protect their foreign workers' jobs.
The Jobs Support Scheme will be enhanced so workers can keep their jobs, and businesses can resume operations quickly when the circuit breaker is lifted.
