Zap Delivery Promises To Courier Your Items Anywhere In Singapore Within 2 Hours!

Consider this scenario – it is the eve of the Chinese New Year break, and you are rushing to get corporate gifts delivered to your client. However, you are also stuck at your desk trying to finish off your work so you can enjoy the break in peace. Wouldn’t it be great if there’s a reliable courier service that could guarantee a fast delivery?

Consider this other scenario – you have forgotten to bring your keys out from the house. Wouldn’t it be great if there’s a reliable courier service that could help grab the keys for you from your spouse or your housemate?

Zap Delivery, a newly launched on-demand express courier service, wants to help you do exactly that. On top of just delivering corporate gifts or keys, the delivery service allows you to do other extended deliveries such as parcels, cloths, boxes, documents and other small items. This is done through its app:

Delivery In Two Hours

While there are a handful of other competitors in this space, perhaps one of the most impressive feature about Zap Delivery is that the app promises a secure and reliable delivery in just two hours, with a minimum charge of S$5.

“We’ve personally gone through numerous delivery misfortunes, so we decided to develop an app that is easy to use and one that will garner user confidence”, said Michael Tan, Zap Delivery Co- founder and Chief Executive Officer. “With this app, we hope to transform and disrupt the way the traditional logistics industry works.”

“If you need something to be delivered urgently, ZAP is here for you,” Michael told Vulcan Post.

Here’s a simple infographic provided by the team on how it works:

Couriers Can Earn More Through ZAP Than Uber

Zap Delivery claims to now work with a network of more than 500 courier partners, all of whom have passed stringent qualification and background checks. Once an order is received for a delivery request, ZAP matches the nearest available courier partner with the sender for prompt pick-up and delivery. Senders can also track courier partners’ real-time progress on a map to better predict pick-up and drop-off times.

The ZAP team

Once a delivery is done, the senders will be able to help ensure a high service standard from each courier partner by rating them on the app. Likewise, courier partners will also be able to rate the senders, thus achieving a rating impact for the entire community.

As the minimum delivery fee is kept at S$5, ZAP is able to past on most of the revenue to the courier. According to the team, it is possible to earn more through ZAP than to drive with Uber. Additionally too, ZAP told us that a traditional courier makes anywhere between S$1,600 to S$2,000 a month, but he can earn up to S$2,500 with ZAP.

With the launch, ZAP seems poised to be one of the leader in on demand concierge service in Singapore – with its slick mobile app, a network of ready partner couriers, as well as a brand promise to deliver your items within 2 hours. We will be sure to keep you updated with news from ZAP.
