Online shopping fans now have one more collection point to pick up their purchases.

Convenience store chain 7-Eleven, e-commerce site Lazada, and last-mile logistics provider Ninja Van today announced a collaboration that will enable shoppers on Lazada to choose from almost 350 participating 7-Eleven stores island-wide as a collection point for their parcels.

“We do encounter a substantial number of failed deliveries, which is disruptive for not only our customers, but sellers and delivery companies as well,” said Ray Chou, Country Head, Ninja Van Singapore.

“With this wide network for self-service collection points, customers now have the hassle-free option of collecting their parcels at their convenience.”

Added Pierre de Bellescize, Chief Executive Officer at Lazada eLogistics Singapore: “Partnering with 7-Eleven and NinjaVan was a natural next step and bolsters the click-and-collect options we already offer with SingPost’s POPStations, SPH Buzz Convenience Stores and Parcel Santa Lockers located in Condominiums, to name a few.”

Users of the service will enjoy free delivery, as opposed to paying $1.49 for normal delivery and $2.99 for express drop-off.

The new service is now available at 159 7-Eleven stores, and there will be a progressive rollout to the rest of the participating outlets by the end of 2018.

Shoppers can choose their preferred collection point upon check-out on Lazada from 6pm today (18 Oct).
