Cold Stone Creamery Can’t Take The Heat, To Close All S’pore Outlets On Jan 31

Cold Stone Creamery first set up shop in Singapore back in 2009, and is famous for its customisable ice cream, which are ‘folded’ on a frozen granite stone.

It also made waves for introducing unique local flavours like Nasi Lemak and Chendol in line with last year’s National Day celebration.

After 10 years of operation here, the ice cream parlour announced that it will be closing all three of its outlets in Singapore on 31 January 2020.

This news came following a spate of recent F&B retail deaths, with Bake Cheese Tart, Pablo Cheese Tart and Dome Cafe all exiting the Singapore market.

Currently, Cold Stone Creamery has three local outlets located at VivoCity, Waterway Point and Hill V2.

While Cold Stone Creamery will be marking its exit in Singapore, it will be still continuing its operations in other countries such as Japan, Korea, China and the United Arab Emirates.

Discounted Ice Creams To Mark Its Farewell

From Jan 3 to 31, the chain will be offering discounted ice cream on its five most popular flavours to “thank its supporters”. Its four-ounce Like It size will now be priced at $5 instead of the usual $6.50.

The five flavours are Banana Caramel Crunch, Strawberry Banana Rendezvous, Birthday Cake Remix, Chocolate Devotion and Oreo Overload.

Customers can also take home a limited edition cooler bag with every purchase of two cups of ice cream in any size, while stocks last.
