Get A 2021 Headstart With M’sian-Made Planners From These 6 Online, Independent Sellers

2021 is approaching in less than 50 days.

What a ride it’s been. This year felt so surreal.

A lot of the things many of us had planned for didn’t go as expected, but the new year is just around the corner.

Still, even if things didn’t go our way, it’s not a bad time to start planning for next year.

So here are 6 online stores for you to choose from that sell 2021 planners to help you pen your goals down for the year ahead.

1. Perky Preen

Perky Preen was started in 2014 by Fazila, who first designed wedding cards and packed wedding door gifts.

But from 2016 onwards, she started making personalised yearly planners.

For her 2021 planner, she collaborated with RAD Culture, which is an independent education platform on Instagram that regularly raises awareness on social injustice.

All 6 types of planners are 14.5cm x 22cm and you can personalise the fonts in the tracker as well as your name in front of the book.

2. Everyday and bymirasya Planners

Everyday Planners was founded in 2015 by an architecture student, Sarah Razi.

Sarah had always used a planner up until she went to university because the normal calendar didn’t align with her academic calendar.

Life without a planner was hard for her back then, as she started to experience many hiccups in her studies and everyday life. It was to the point where she even fell into depression.

It was then she realised she needed to start getting back into planning and journaling so she designed one that suited her needs.

She later started to sell planners and created 3 different ones: Academic, Business, and Fitness, and has been perfecting them to help people meet their ideal planner structures.

For her 2021 planner, she collaborated with bymirasya, a brand that sells Muslim modestwear to make 2 planner designs.

Its founder, Sharmimi Razak had actually gotten a planner from Sarah before later collaborating on making planners for bymirasya.

The planners are 20.15cm x 16cm x 2cm and are 100gsm thick to resist ink bleeding.

You can expect to wait 2-14 days for your planner to arrive at your doorstep.

Of all the options above, I’d actually go for Perky Preen if I’m thinking of getting my own planner.

Though it’s the most expensive (out of those who’ve disclosed their prices), their aesthetics are the most appealing to me, which I think is important if you’re going to look at that book every day.

What they included in the planner is also suitable for my lifestyle, for example, I’m not really a fitness person so I find no need for such a checklist.

If you’re thinking of getting a headstart for the year ahead, now’s a good time to check out these online stores and their 2021 planners as they’ve opened up pre-orders and orders.
