We’ve always heard the idiom, an apple a day keeps the doctor away. What if it doesn’t? What if you are at the comfort of your home and are wondering how to get hold of available doctors? Traditionally, you pick up the phone and ask for referrals. In the digital age now, there are websites set up for you to instantly browse for doctor’s listings online as well as schedule an appointment with them.

Here are four websites which caught our attention:

DocDoc – Find Doctors, Dentists and Specialists in Singapore

docdoc

DocDoc provides a platform to search for and select the best doctor available in Singapore. Choose from over 12,000 qualified healthcare professionals and then book your appointment online. The website provides busy people an easy way to book an appointment with doctors as you can browse doctors by location as well as by their specialties.

65doctor – Book Singapore Doctor Appointments

65doctors

65doctor focuses more on doctor bookings. The site allows you to see profiles of doctors and then schedule an appointment with your selected doctors. There is also a handy search feature which allows you to search for doctors according to your body parts. If you have a problem with your head, 65doctor shows you specialists in that area. Unlike what is suggested by the name of the website, there are currently more than 65 doctors listed on the site.

Instead of focusing on doctor searches, hooheals is taking a different approach by focusing on symptoms. hooheals lets patients search for info about their ailments, and recommends specialist doctors best suited for treating them. It is a paid service for patients whom can use it to generate detailed medical reports. hooheals then use it to make health recommendations, including searching out the best, most experienced doctors to treat the ailment.
