Are you a youth with a social cause that you truly believe in? Have a cause you want to share with everyone else? Have a story that only you can tell?

Here’s a chance for you: SpeakFest! is Singapore’s nationwide public speaking competition to champion a social cause organized especially to answer all that questions.

The theme of this contest is “Everyone has a story to share. What’s yours?” where speakers will be sharing on their personal stories and passions.

This contest is open to youths aged 15-25, where 20 selected contestants will speak about youth topics in an elimination style, to win a coveted prize money of SGD1000 and to be crowned SpeakFest! top speaker.

There will be training provided for the contestants by experienced and notable public speakers, which they will have to pay for as part of the contest. The contestants will also be attending a social event with support from Amberbrook after the semi-finals. Right after, SpeakFest! will end the contest with a finals on 11th July. The social event on the 28th June will also revolve around this theme of stories and how we can contribute back to society.

SpeakFest! is proudly presented by Speakout Consultancy and *SCAPE, partnered together with MediaCorp, Singapore Kindness Movement, Mendaki Club, SALT Solution, The Hidden Good, National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre, Between (VCNC), The Thought Collective, Jane Goodall Institute (Singapore), and Conjunct Consulting.

Registration has opened and will close on the 30th May, 2359h.
