Native of Morocco, the Prickly Pear fruit is one of the most highly prized and expensive oils of the plant oil kingdom. Because it takes about 1000kg to produce only 1kg of oil. The process of extracting the oil is also extremely laborious and can only be done manually to maintain the potency of the oil.
It contains more essential fatty acids, Vitamin E and antioxidants than any other plant oil, which means it is very moisturising and nourishing. It also has remarkable calming and soothing effects and have been reported to bring relief to skin issues such as eczema, rosacea and psoriasis.
