This year InterContinental Kuala Lumpur is offering a collection of 10 artisanal mooncakes, including both classic baked and modern snow skin varieties.
Master Dim Sum Chef Lo Tian Sion from the hotel’s Muslim-friendly Chinese restaurant, Tao Chinese Cuisine has contributed three new flavors to the lineup, showcasing his 30 years of culinary expertise.

Another thing of note is the beautiful lantern designs on the gift boxes that were created by Mohd Khairuddin Bin Che Rani from the Mouth & Foot Painting Artists Association (MFPA).

2. Impiana KLCC Hotel
Impiana KLCC introduced its mooncake collection this year for the first time. This collection features six traditional baked, halal mooncake flavours. They even have some interesting flavours to try out:

The premium Japanese chocolatier ROYCE’ Chocolate has also come up with their own chocolate mooncake for the first time.
This liquor-free mooncake alternative is the ROYCE’ Chocoman “Mid-Autumn Festival”, with a chocolate-infused dough and filled with white bean paste and a soft chocolate cream centre.

4. Banyan Tree Kuala Lumpur
Tech meets tradition this year with Banyan Tree Kuala Lumpur introducing what they say to be Malaysia’s first-ever Augmented Reality (AR) mooncake packaging.
They’ve collaborated with a renowned Malaysian artist, Jaee Tee, to offer an immersive and interactive experience for this Mid-Autumn Festival.
You can choose from two different collections: Moonlit Majesty (a dragon animation) and Joyous Blossoms (butterflies and flowers animation), both of which are sure to wow people.
The Moonlit Majesty Collection includes four medium-sized mooncakes in each box. The flavours are:

5. St. Regis Kuala Lumpur
St. Regis Kuala Lumpur is taking its mooncakes to a whole new level this year. They’ve created two luxurious boxes that embody elegance, tradition, and artistry to hold their delicious treats.
The first is the Classic Mooncake Trunk is a tribute to the legendary St. Regis Butler Service, reflecting the hotel’s rich heritage.
Modelled after the essential trunks used by John Jacob Astor, the founder of St. Regis, during his travels in the 1920s, it serves as both a practical storage solution and a symbol of timeless luxury.
This elegant trunk can hold up to eight mooncakes and can be reused to store valuables after the festival.
