It’s that time of year again, when YouTube releases their mind-boggling, intensive, 5-minute mashup of all things YouTube in 2014. Named after the hit song “Turn Down For What”, Turn Down For 2014 featured several notable YouTube stars and popular YouTube videos, and was filmed in a very international list of places, including Mexico City; Austin, Texas; Ganei Tiva, Israel; and London, England.

The whole video was played to a mashup of several popular music videos played on YouTube, including Happy by Pharrell, All About That Bass by Meghan Trainor, Bang Bang by Jesse J, and even Let It Go from the hit 2014 movie Frozen.

There are also appearances by Jimmy Kimmel, Conan O’brien, and references to the First Kiss video that got twenty strangers to kiss for the first time, Devil Baby Attack, and the hilarious Spider Dog video that went viral on Halloween.

This year’s video has big shoes to fill, as the previous year’s installments were met with great success. 2012’s “Rewind YouTube Style” had now hit nearly 150 million views, while 2013’s “What Does 2013 Say?” had 102 million views so far.
