Acer Malaysia is lending a helping hand in flood relief efforts through their area of expertise, by providing flood victims in the East Coast with free device inspections and 50% off on parts needed for repairs. The company also stated that labour costs for these repairs will be waived.

Acer Sales and Services Sdn Bhd Managing Director Ricky Tan stated in their Facebook post that, “We are deeply saddened by the flood disaster that struck our fellow Malaysians and colleagues, especially in the East Coast. We want to do our part to help you through an area of our expertise. Labour cost for both inspection and repairs will be waived and costs of replacement parts will be subsidized.”

According to the Facebook post, this program is valid from January 10th to February 28th 2015. There are three participating Acer Malaysia official service providers in the East Coast:
