Singtel, one of the main telcos in Singapore, launched the country’s first no-contract postpaid data SIM plan on Valentines Day (February 14th). For a monthly S$19.90 monthly subscription fee, customers who sign up for the plan will get a 2GB data plan.

According to a Singtel news release on Friday (via Channel NewsAsia), customers have to pre-pay the first month’s subscription fee, and will thereafter receive monthly statements sent to their billing address.

And now for even better news: on top of the new flexibility offered to customers via this new plan, Singtel shared that it will be offering postpaid mobile customers with free unlimited data on February 19, this coming Thursday, to celebrate the Chinese New Year.

It seems Singtel is focusing a lot on customer satisfaction, following its recent rebranding.

So yes: this Thursday, you won’t have to worry about your data limit, and can go ahead and watch and download videos as and when you want!
