As Chinese New Year comes round, we all begin making plans to see our family. Whether it is returning to our hometown or deciding who buys the yusheng, family is at the front of our minds this festive season.
But we also want to acknowledge the people who may have difficulties going home or seeing their family. These people are making their homes where they can, and making new families with the people closest to them. Others are opening their homes to people far from their own, sharing their families with them. Because it’s not just about pineapple tarts or firecrackers or red packets — it’s about being together.
We at Vulcan Post hope that everyone has family to cherish this Chinese New Year.
